Candle Essentials: Sugar Cookies In Winter

With tags like “The World’s Best,” I expected this candle in the holiday special that I just bought to be a high-quality, if not the best, candle. What I got instead was a very disappointing low end, cheap candle with one wick. I will admit, at first, that the scent of the candle is very aromatic and sweet. It has a very inviting scent that makes you want to light up and smell it; however, after lighting the candle and taking a sniff, it smells pretty much like the candle I get at the store almost every year.

The scent that I got from this candle reminded me of when I eat sugar cookies for breakfast, and I always have a blast about baking them. So, when I received my free gift box, I opened up the package to find a beautiful tea light scented candle with three wicks. However, when I brought the candle home, the scent that comes through the candle is rather stale. I can’t smell any of the sugar or the Baklava either. I’m not sure what happened but I ended up discarding the candle as I thought it was nothing special.

Maybe this year I will invest in a better candle, or perhaps I will just stick with my cheap, low quality gift wrap paper. Either way, I’m not happy with my purchase. To me, it does not represent good value for the money I paid. If you are going to spend money on something, you want to be sure you are getting your money’s worth. Otherwise, I would recommend you stay away from these type of candles.
