DL & Co Thorn Apple CandleVery rare Thorn Apple candle from D.L. & Co. The company doesn’t seem to exist anymore, but use to make very high end, unique scented candles in striking packaging. This was one the signature collection scents. In my opinion this is probably the most realistic smelling apple candle with some sophisticated woody notes. Description from DL & Co of the scent: “Thorn Apple’s clean bouquet is enveloped by the trill of sharp, bright notes, partially obscuring its lush, verdant interior. Like the horn-shaped blooms that seem to sound its arrival, Thorn Apple’s crisp scent foretells the sweet surrender to come. Fragrance Notes: Prickly Pear, Thorn Apple, Anjou Pear, Caribbean Vetiver, South Sea Patchouli, Oakmoss” The packaging is just as striking as the scent. The container is a black glossy scalloped glass jar packaged in signature Victorian silk hat box and ribbon. Both the box and candle make gorgeous styling items and can be repurposed once empty. For that reason I am also including in the listing an empty matching black jar and box from the smallest version of the Thorn Apple candle. Small jar measures 3″ x 2″. The candle is the largest size that was available 15 oz with 3 wicks. The wax is white and is a blend of soy, maple and palm wax. Burn time approximately 80hrs. The container measures 6″ x 4″. Both jars are signature embossed on the bottom. Also included in the listing is a sealed box of DL & Co skull matches. The box is black and the skull is silver color.
